The gift came from an anonymous family that includes multiple Penn State graduates who have supported Penn State Athletics, THON, and the Smeal College of Business in the past.
âWe are deeply grateful for the extraordinary generosity of an anonymous donor family whose $1 million gift will have a lasting impact on the Beaver Stadium Revitalization project,â Pat Kraft, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, said.Â
âThis gift and the others we have received to date are a powerful testament to the broad support for our community and the exciting future ahead for our stadium.â
The donation will be used as part of the university’s $700 million project to renovate Beaver Stadium, which was approved in May 2024.
