[Photo Story] Downtown State College Lights Up For Holidays

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, folks!

It’s officially the holiday season across Happy Valley, and the decorations downtown don’t disappoint. Many businesses have decorated themselves in bright and beautiful holiday lights or other decorations. Our photographers wandered through the chilly winter night to capture the beauty that is the holidays in State College.

The shops up and down College Avenue are merry and bright. From shops to bars to restaurants, there isn’t a lack of holiday spirit.

Other shops across downtown had plenty of holiday decorations to remind us the holidays are near.

Some of the houses on North Burrowes Street were even in the holiday spirit.

Don’t forget The Corner Room and the Allen Street Christmas tree are the center of all this holiday spirit.

State College is always festive this time of year. Happy holidays, folks!
