Penn State Women’s Volleyball To Hold National Championship Team Arrival Monday At Rec Hall

The Nittany Lions are headed back to Happy Valley with some hardware.

Following its 3-1 win over Louisville in Sunday’s national championship, Penn State women’s volleyball has invited fans to join the team for its arrival at Rec Hall at 1 p.m. on Monday.

The victory marked Penn State’s eighth overall title and first since 2014, as Katie Schumacher-Cawley became the first female head coach to win a Division l women’s volleyball NCAA Championship.

Penn State will head back to Rec Hall, where it went 20-0 this year, helping push the Nittany Lions to a 35-2 overall season and No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament before ultimately becoming the last team standing.
