A Penn Stater Is Guaranteed To Appear In Super Bowl LIX

A Penn Stater will still play in every Super Bowl…except for five since 1967.

With the Denver Broncos’ loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, all remaining playoff teams in the AFC have at least one former Penn State player on their roster.

In the AFC, Hunter Nourzad plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, Odafe Oweh and Jordan Stout play for the Baltimore Ravens, Austin Johnson, Daquan Jones, and Connor McGovern play for the Bills, and Juice Scruggs plays for the Houston Texans.

In the NFC, Allen Robinson plays for the Detroit Lions, Sean Clifford plays for the Green Bay Packers, Saquon Barkley and Jahan Dotson play for the Philadelphia Eagles, and Chris Godwin plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. No Nittany Lions play for the Washington Commanders, the Minnesota Vikings, nor the Los Angeles Rams.
