Penn State Women’s Hockey Katie DeSa Named AHA Goaltender Of The Month

For the second time this season, Katie DeSa received Atlantic Hockey America’s nomination for the Goaltender of the Month, the conference announced Tuesday.

DeSa had five shutout wins in January, helping the Nittany Lions to nine straight victories. The junior secured an impressive 207 saves with a save percentage of .957 this month. In the most recent matchup against No. 3 Minnesota, DeSa had 32 saves that led to the 6-2 win against the Golden Gophers.
