THON 2025 Day Two Recap

We’ve done a lot of writing, folks.
As we know, THON sounds like a long endeavor, but with all the events taking place, it’s easy to have time pass you by without a thought. If you haven’t been following along with our live blog (which you totally should), no worries. We’ve taken the time to compile a recap of all the things you might have missed on day two of THON if you couldn’t make it into the Bryce Jordan Center.
Lights Out By 8 Shook The Stage (& Our Eardrums)
From Chappel Roan to Seven Nations Army, Lights Out by 8 had the BJC on its feet following The Fray’s incredible performance.
It took about two minutes before we started wishing they would return.
Dancer Relations Captains To The Stage…Again…Again…& Again
The Dancer Relations captains had us on our feet for most of the morning with multiple line dancers in the span of one hour. But hey, we aren’t complaining.
Slides Of Strength Gave Our Dancers Some Love
You know when OPP breaks out the baby powder, they mean business. OPP and other THON volunteers gave our dancers some much-needed TLC with their traditional slides of strength.

It’s Zamboni Time
One of the most beloved members of THON Weekend made their appearance to give the floors a much-needed scrub after OPP treated our dancers to massages.

Aren’t they beautiful?
The Kids Talent Show Stole Our Hearts
The talented and inspiring Four Diamond children showed off their skills at the annual THON Weekend Talent Show. There are some familiar faces, but the fan favorites aka Jedi and Sith returned for another battle.

Trace McSorley & Landon Tengwall Host Pep Rally
Trace McSorley and Landon Tengwall made their way back to Happy Valley to host the Pep Rally and get the crowd pumped for the upcoming performances. From an appearance from Katie Schumacher-Cawley to a video of Saquon Barkley and Stephen Nedoroscik, this THON Pep Rally was one for the history books.
