Two Penn State men’s lacrosse players earned Big Ten weekly awards, as Colby Baldwin was named Specialist of the Week while Hunter Aquino took home Freshman of the Week.

Baldwin, a sophomore faceoff specialist, went 17-for-26 on faceoffs and scored on his only shot in No. 9 Penn State’s 15-9 win over Yale on Saturday. Baldwin also scooped 10 ground balls in the matchup.
Aquino netted two goals along with a team-high five assists on the Bulldogs to bring his season point total to 18 and win his second Freshman of the Week honor this season.
The win over the Bulldogs on the road brought Penn State to 4-1 in Penn State’s second consecutive six-goal win.
Penn State will return to action at No. 3 Cornell at noon on Saturday, March 8. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
