D’Marco Dunn Named Big Ten Player Of The Week

Penn State men’s basketball’s D’Marco Dunn was named Big Ten Player of the Week after leading the Nittany Lions to an 86-75 win over No. 12 Wisconsin.

Dunn had a career-best performance, shooting 10-for-12 from the field and 4-for-5 from three-point range, for a game-high of 25 points. He also collected four assists and three rebounds.

Dunn was a key player in Saturday’s comeback win, as fifteen of his 25 points came in the second half. This kept the Nittany Lions in the game after trailing by double digits after the first half.

This was Penn State’s first road win at Wisconsin in nearly 30 years, and its highest-ranked road win since 2009.

The Penn State senior is the program’s first player to be named Big Ten Player of the Week since Jalen Pickett in 2022 and 2023. It is also his first career Big Ten Player of the Week award.

In the second half of the regular season, Dunn averaged 12.3 points per game, 53.2% from the field, and 46.3% from three-point range.

The Nittany Lions finished off their regular season play with the win in Madison.
