Penn State Hoops Freshman Forward Miles Goodman Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State men’s basketball forward Miles Goodman has entered the transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Goodman was the Nittany Lions’ top recruit in the class of 2024.

In his lone year with Penn State, Goodman missed the first half of the season with an injury but still played 79 minutes over 19 games. He recorded 15 points, 18 rebounds, and two assists during that time.

The 6’11” and 225-pound freshman resides in Seattle, Washington, and played high school ball with fellow freshman teammate Dominick Stewart at Southern California Academy.

Goodman was a four-star recruit and touted as the No. 13 player from Washington, the No. 21 center, and the No. 108 player in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. By the same metric, Goodman was ranked as the No. 3 recruit in Penn State men’s basketball history.

Goodman is now the third player to enter the portal, joining freshmen Jahvin Carter and Hudson Ward.
