Staff Predictions: Penn State Football’s 2025 Blue-White Game

The sun shining its wonderful rays of light in Happy Valley means only one thing: Penn State football is almost back.

Penn State is set for its annual Blue-White Game in Beaver Stadium on Saturday to give fans a preliminary showcase of the team’s shape heading into the summer. Despite a plethora of changes to this year’s format and no determined rosters, our staffers took their best shot at predicting the outcome of the end-of-spring display.

Ben Rosenbaum: Fun For Both Teams

I don’t know, but I hope everyone has fun! Personally, I don’t even know how the score is going to be kept, but I just hope everyone goes out, participates, tries their best with a smile on their face, and has a good time!

Charlie Pegler: Team Blue 0, Team White 0

This is going to be a Big Ten defensive battle. Coach Jim Knowles is going to have the boys shut down every point of the offense. I expect a combined 37 yards on Saturday. God, I love Big Ten football.

Mitch Corcoran: Mother Nature 85, Team Blue 0, Team White 0

Get ready for a wet one, folks. Spring has sprung, and that means April showers will, in fact, bring May flowers. Speaking of April showers, there’s an 85% chance of rain on Saturday. That sucks. I can see it being difficult to run up the score during inclement weather. Therefore, neither team scores, except for Mother Nature. She will win this one because it’s going to be tough to get a good look at this 2025 Penn State squad when it’s rainy and not on TV. I just hope that everybody has fun playing in the rainy slop and that nobody gets seriously injured.

Michael Siroty: Penn State Men’s Lacrosse

The men’s lacrosse Big Ten Tournament game is what I’m focused on. Johns Hopkins, you’re in trouble.

Nolan Wick: Team Blue 89, Team White 61

It’s good to be back in a (much different-looking) Beaver Stadium.

Oscar Orellana: Team Blue 12, Team White 9

I’m expecting a kicking masterclass in the rain and on a slippery field. Don’t play anybody else, just let the special teams units duke it out for all 100 fans in attendance. The fans yearn for the uprights, and Blue will win on a 57-yard walk-off kick.

Michael Zeno: Team Blue 21, Team White 17

I just hope both teams have fun.

Cooper Cazares: Team Blue 35, Team White 14

No rosters have been posted, but I have a strong feeling about Team Blue taking the spring game this year. It was a rough year for Team Blue last year after getting shut out 27-0, however, I think the tide turns this year and Blue gets its revenge. Overall, the Penn State faithful will win the day as it’s the very first time the public gets to see the Nittany Lions in action in what could very well be the last Blue-White “Game” we see.

Joe Lister: Jell-O Shots 100, Everyone Else 0

Tailgating time.
