Penn State Field Hockey Releases 2025 Schedule

Fall is coming quick, folks.

Penn State field hockey released its 2025 schedule Wednesday. The team will play 17 games, eight of which will be played at home.

The Nittany Lions will open their season at Virginia on August 29, before coming home to Happy Valley to take on Delaware on September 5. They will stay home for three more games against St. Joe, Bucknell, and Kent State before back-to-back road games against Maryland and Lafayette.

Penn State will return for a quick home game against Michigan State on September 26 before a long stretch on the road. It will travel from September 28 to October 10 to play Syracuse, Michigan, Ohio State, and Northwestern.

The team will return home for a weekend to continue Big Ten play against Iowa and Indiana on October 17 and 19. The Nittany Lions will then travel to Lock Haven and Princeton before ending the season on Halloween in Happy Valley against Rutgers.

At the end of the regular season, Indiana will host the Big Ten Tournament from November 6 to November 9. If the Nittany Lions are selected for the NCAA tournament, it will take place the following week from Friday, November 14, to Sunday, November 23.
