Beaver Stadium Ranked Second-Toughest Place To Play In College Football 26

The developers are slowly learning what we’ve all known for years.

After being ranked No. 6 last season, behind four SEC schools and Ohio State, Penn State football’s deafening home stadium is ranked the second-hardest place to play in College Football 26, which was revealed on X on Tuesday.

Beaver Stadium jumps Ohio Stadium, Sanford Stadium, Bryant-Denny Stadium, and last year’s No. 1 Kyle Field since last June’s ranking. They only sit behind LSU’s Tiger Stadium, known as Death Valley. Penn State leads the pack among Big Ten schools, with four home stadiums being ranked in the top ten and eight in the top 25.

When you do your dynasty playthroughs with the Nittany Lions this summer, the 2025 schedule includes road trips to Ohio State, Iowa, and Michigan State. The home venues for each rank, No. 3, No. 19, and No. 24, respectively.

College Football 26 will be released on Thursday, July 10, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Penn State football will open its 2025 season at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, August 30, at 3:30 p.m. against Nevada on CBS.
