Former Penn State Football Commit Jerquaden Guilford Flips To Ohio State

Former Penn State football three-star wide receiver commit Jerquaden Guilford has committed to Ohio State, he announced Friday afternoon. Guilford committed to Penn State in December 2024 and decommitted from the program in late February.

Guilford was Penn State’s third wide receiver commit of the 2026 recruiting class behind Jahsiear Rogers and Lavar Keys. He was tabbed as the No. 4 player in Indiana and No. 105 overall wide receiver at the time of his commitment, but has since ballooned to the No. 1 player in the state and No. 50 wideout in the nation, per the 247 Composite rankings. He also jumped to a four-star rating per the same metric.

Guilford is Penn State’s third lost commit to find a new home in the 2026 recruiting cycle following quarterback Peyton Falzone’s flip to Auburn and offensive tackle Roseby Lubintus’ flip to Syracuse. He chose Ohio State over Ole Miss.
