Drew Allar & Nick Singleton Named To Walter Camp Award Watch List

Penn State football quarterback Drew Allar and running back Nick Singleton have been named to the Walter Camp Award Player of the Year watch list. The award recognizes the best player in college football annually.

Allar, who was named to the Maxwell Award and Big Ten players to watch lists, is entering his fourth year with the Nittany Lions. The Medina, Ohio, native threw for 3,327 yards and 24 touchdowns last season and is one of the best returning quarterbacks in the country.

Singleton was also named to the Maxwell Award and Big Ten players to watch list, and the Walter Camp Preseason All-American team. The running back ran for 1,099 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2024, while adding another 375 receiving yards.

The Walter Camp Award will name 10 semi-finalists in early November and three finalists in December. The winner will be announced live on ESPN on December 12.
