Former Penn State Men’s Hockey Forward Danny Dzhaniyev Signs With Idaho Steelheads

Former Penn State men’s hockey forward Danny Dzhaniyev has signed with the Idaho Steelheads, announced on Tuesday.

The Steelheads are ECHL affiliates of the Dallas Stars.

Dzhaniyev spent four seasons at Penn State, consistently being a key player. He recorded 93 points through 34 goals and 59 assists across 146 games for the blue and white. He helped lead the Nittany Lions to two NCAA Tournaments in his time, including the first-ever trip to the Frozen Four last year.

The Nittany Lions will kick off their season at Arizona State on Friday, October 3, at 9 p.m.
