UPUA Elects Noah Youcheff As Vice President

The University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) has elected Noah Youcheff as its new vice president following a decisive 32-2-0 vote by the general assembly. UPUA confirmed the results via its official Instagram account.

Youcheff, representing the College of Information Sciences and Technology, brings prior experience in both academic and student senator roles from the 19th assembly. During that time, he chaired the Academic Affairs Committee, steering efforts to clarify academic policy, foster collaboration across student bodies, and raise awareness of academic rights for students. He is expected to continue his role in the Faculty Senate.

In his new capacity, Youcheff is expected to oversee internal operations and contribute to shaping student advocacy and governance moving forward.

UPUA reiterated its commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and effective representation at the undergraduate level. Structured similarly to federal government, UPUA’s executive, legislative, and judicial branches work collaboratively to support initiatives in affordability, accessibility, and administrative responsiveness.

With Youcheff’s election formally announced on Instagram and validated through the voting process, UPUA appears poised to continue its momentum under informed leadership and a clearly defined mandate. Youcheff is expected to begin his role as Vice President immediately.
