[Photo Story] State College LION Bash 2025

What a beautiful night it was for a block party on Allen Street.

The annual LION Bash was on Thursday evening, allowing members of the community the chance to enjoy the summer evening with a variety of booths, photo ops, and treats. The event combined the vibes of a neighborhood block party with an engagement fair that encourages folks to get involved with local organizations.

Our photographers were up and down Allen Street to capture all the fun from throughout the evening.

There were a variety of activities for people to engage with and even win some prizes.

Those at the block party also had the opportunity to get some free treats like flowers, cupcakes, and balloon animals.

There were also tons of characters for people to take photos with. Chewbacca was definitely a fan favorite.

Various members of the community came out to share what their organizations were all about. There were also a variety of food vendors, giving those at the event plenty of options.

There were also a couple of musical guests serenading those wandering the streets.

The rain couldn’t stop this community from coming out and enjoying their summer evening.
