[Photo Story] College GameDay Returns For Penn State vs. Oregon

College GameDay returned to Happy Valley on Old Main Lawn after being at the Bryce Jordan Center last year for the Penn State vs. Ohio State matchup. The ESPN college football morning show brought the energy leading up to the big game later that evening.

Of course, our photographers were on the scene to capture all the moments from start to finish.

College GameDay showed up earlier in the week to prep for the exciting show.

Peter even made a small guest appearance on the steps of Old Main.

Students were there bright and early to get the best spots on Saturday.

The excitement grew as showtime got closer.

Once host Rece Davis and analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, and Pat McAfee arrived, they provided viewers with insight into recent games.

There were a plethora of signs scattered throughout the crowd.

There were plenty of pups out enjoying the show too.

It was finally time for the long awaited field goal. The raffle winner absolutely nailed the kick and took home $300,000!

Although the game was an upset, hopefully College GameDay is something those who attended can happily remember.
