Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Names 2026 Team Captains

Jon King, Michael Faraone, and Ryan O’Connor will serve as the Penn State men’s lacrosse team captains for the upcoming season, the team announced Monday.

King is a senior defensive midfielder, appearing in 37 games over his collegiate career. The Utah native has racked up two goals and one assist while scooping up 68 ground balls.

Midfielder Faraone has recorded three goals and ground balls throughout his time as a Nittany Lion.

O’Connor rounds out the captains with the most experience at Penn State. The long stick midfielder played in 48 games throughout his last three years, helping run a strong Penn State attack. The senior has scored two goals and added three assists, also recording a strong 84 ground balls.
