Lady Lions Releases 2025-2026 Big Ten Schedule

The Lady Lions will be back sooner rather than later, folks.

After the Lady Lions announced their non-conference schedule in mid-September, the Big Ten announced its full schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Lions will play 18 conference games once again, with nine of them being played at the Bryce Jordan Center and the other nine on the road.

Following seven of their 11 non-conference games, the Lady Lions will open Big Ten play at home against Nebraska on December 6 before playing their final four non-conference games.

After its final non-conference game against Richmond on December 21, Penn State women’s basketball will rest for seven days before it plays its conference road opener against Iowa on December 28. The Lady Lions will close out the year 2025 with a home matchup against UCLA on December 31.

On January 4, Penn State women’s basketball will head to Wisconsin to take on the Badgers before it returns home for a two-game homestand against Michigan and Illinois. On January 14, the Lady Lions will head to Columbus, Ohio, to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. This was the only team that Penn State women’s basketball defeated in Big Ten play last season.

After the Lady Lions play against Rutgers at home on January 18, they will head to the West Coast for a two-game road trip against Washington and Oregon. Penn State women’s basketball will return home on January 28 to take on Minnesota before it has a six-day break. After this rest, the Lady Lions will go on the road to take on Purdue on February 4 before it returns home to take on Michigan State three days later.

The blue and white will take on Maryland on February 12 before it heads to Northwestern three days later. The Lady Lions will have another six days of rest, and after that, they will face Rutgers once again, but on the road this time around. Penn State women’s basketball will play its final home game against USC on February 25 before it closes out its regular season against Indiana on February 28.

The Big Ten Tournament is scheduled for March 4-8 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Lady Lions will look to make the tournament this year after missing it last season, as they were one of the three teams to miss it.
