Penn State Students For Justice In Palestine Hosting Week Of Action

Penn State Students for Justice in Palestine are hosting events for a week of action to mark two years after the events of October 7, 2023.

On Monday, October 6, the group set up a memorial flag display on the HUB lawn. It features 18,600 flags, each representing 10-30 Palestinians killed in the Israel-Hamas war.

On Tuesday, October 7, there will be a protest at the Allen Street Gates at 5:30 p.m., followed by a tribute on Old Main lawn.

Wednesday, October 8, will feature a “From Palestine to Penn State Teach-In” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Thomas 104.

The group will be tabling at the HUB on Thursday, October 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in an attempt to engage the student body.

To end the week, they will be in HUB 008 Lounge from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 10, for “Theater as Testimony.”
