[Photo Story] Penn State Homecoming Parade 2025

Homecoming week is coming to an end! A time for community and pride, Penn State’s annual Homecoming Parade made its return to State College on Friday night.

Floats traveled from East Halls, through campus, down College Avenue, and up to the Lion Shrine — filling the streets with laughter, music, and school spirit.

We had photographs placed throughout the parade to capture the essence of what homecoming is all about!

The parade began with the First-Year Involvement Committee, followed by the Army ROTC, and of course, the beloved Nittany Lion, who brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Such fun floats from student clubs, sororities, fraternities, alumni groups, and more filled the route, spreading happiness (and plenty of candy) along the way.

And who could forget the CATA buses – always a fan favorite!

With so many bright, colorful floats and so much joy, the parade continued to make its way throughout College Ave.

Finally ending with some musical excitement the Penn State Blue Band!
