SPA To Host Actress Liz Gillies For Lecture November 13

The Penn State Student Programming Association (SPA) will host actress, singer, and director Liz Gillies for a lecture on Thursday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Schwab Auditorium, the association announced Sunday night.

Tickets are free, but folks must RSVP for the event.

Gillies skyrocketed to fame from her role as Jade West on “Victorious.” She made her Broadway debut at 15 years old, making appearances in film and TV, including “The Orville,” “White Collar,” “Family Guy,” “American Dad,” “Arizona,” and “Vacation.” Her other notable roles include Fallon Carrington in “Dynasty” and Gigi in “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.”

She also starred in and produced the film “Spread,” as well as releasing two albums, “We Wish You the Merriest” and “Songs From Home,” with Seth McFarlane.

Gillies most recently returned to Broadway, playing Audrey in the Off-Broadway revival of “Little Shop of Horrors.”
