Penn State Football’s Kaytron Allen Named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player Of The Week

Penn State football running back Kaytron Allen was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Allen rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries against Nebraska on Saturday. The senior’s fourth game of the season over 100 rushing yards pushed him past Saquon Barkley and Evan Royster to become the Nittany Lions’ all-time career rushing yards leader.

The Norfolk, Virginia, native splits this week’s award with Northwestern quarterback Preston Stone. The SMU transfer completed 25-of-30 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-35 win over Minnesota on Saturday.

Allen was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Michigan State as well.
