Penn State Women’s Volleyball Falls To No. 25 In Latest AVCA Poll

Penn State women’s volleyball fell to No. 25 in the latest AVCA poll released Monday. This places the Nittany Lions in the last-ranked spot; the last time they were unranked was in the 1988 season.

The Nittany Lions went 2-0 this weekend, but fell one spot after facing two unranked opponents in Michigan State and Maryland.

Penn State is 17-11 and 11-7 in Big Ten play, with only two matches left in the regular season before the NCAA Tournament. The Nittany Lions will hit the road to take on Nebraska at 6:30 p.m. on November 28 and Iowa at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 29.
