Transfer Portal Roundup: Week 13

While Penn State football finally won a game again at home, plenty of former players were playing across college football over the weekend. While most were on a bye week or injured, let’s take a look at how some transfers did with their new teams in week 13.

Omari Evans, Washington

Wide receiver Omari Evans and Washington defeated UCLA 48-14. Evans recorded four receptions for 27 yards in the dominant win.

Smith Vilbert & Joseph Mupoyi, UNC

Smith Vilbert and Joseph Mupoyi fell to Duke, 32-25, in the North Carolina rivalry. Vilbert added one tackle, while Mupoyi added two tackles, one solo.

Christian Veilleux, Georgia State

Quarterback Christian Veilleux went 19-for-38 passing on Saturday in a loss to Troy. He recorded 303 yards for 50% completion, one touchdown, and one interception.

Alex Bacchetta, Rice

Transfer Alex Bacchetta fell to North Texas 56-24. He punted five times in the loss, for 216 yards, averaging 50 per punt.
