Former Penn State Football Commit Adam McCann-Gibbs Flips To UNC

Penn State class of 2026 four-star kicker Adam McCann-Gibbs has flipped his commitment to the University of North Carolina, per On3’s Sean Fitz. McCann-Gibbs committed to the Nittany Lions in June.

McCann-Gibbs is ranked as the No. 12 kicker and No. 85 punter on the Kohl’s Professional Football Kicking Camps website. The 6’2″ and 190-pound kicker from Ireland attended a Spring Ranking Event in March, scoring 11 of 15 field goal attempts.

He is the 18th player from the class of 2026 to flip schools.
