Report: Penn State Football Hiring Justin Cummings-Morrow In Recruiting Role

A Boxing Day recruiting gift.

Penn State football is set to hire former Colorado State chief of staff Justin Cummings-Morrow for a high-level recruiting role, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.

Spending only a few weeks on the payroll at Colorado State, Cummings-Morrow is reuniting with his old head coach, Matt Campbell, in Happy Valley. He played under Campbell at Toledo and graduated in 2015 before working at Iowa State through 2020.

Before following Jim Mora to Colorado State, Cummings-Morrow spent time at Youngstown State and UConn, where Mora led the Huskies to 18 wins over the past two seasons.

Campbell’s on-field and off-the-field staff continues to take shape with the January transfer window only days away.
