Penn State Football Defensive End Dani Dennis-Sutton Declares For 2026 NFL Draft

Penn State football defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced on Instagram.

This season, the senior defensive lineman has been a staple for the Nittany Lion defense, starting for every contest this season and leading the team in sacks and forced fumbles.

Dennis-Sutton finished the regular season with 38 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and three passes defended.

Playing out of the McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland, Dennis-Sutton was a five-star recruit and ranked as the No. 1 player in the state, the No. 7 defensive lineman in the country, and the No. 29 overall player in the class of 2022, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

In his first year, Dennis-Sutton was named an ESPN.com true freshman All-American after appearing in all 13 games. He made 17 tackles, three sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries, one interception, and a pass breakup.

In 2023, Dennis-Sutton once again appeared in all 13 games, making three starts. He finished with 26 tackles, six tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, two quarterback hurries, and a pass breakup.

As a junior, the Nittany Lion made an appearance in every game for the third-straight year and made 14 starts. He finished with 42 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception, three pass breakups, and nine quarterback hurries. He finished tied for fifth in the Big Ten in tackles for loss and tied for sixth in sacks.

Dennis-Sutton is the ninth Nittany Lion to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft.
