Penn State Football Wide Receiver Josiah Brown Enters The Transfer Portal

Penn State football wide receiver Josiah Brown has entered the transfer portal, he announced on Thursday. The redshirt freshman leaves the program with three years of eligibility remaining.

Brown has not registered a stat with Penn State in two seasons.

Playing out of Malvern High School, Brown tallied 589 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns as a senior, 23 receptions for 452 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior, and 20 receptions for 402 yards and seven touchdowns to go with two punt return touchdowns as a sophomore.

The New York native was listed as a four-star recruit, the No. 2 athlete in the state, No. 57 wide receiver in the country, and the No. 363 overall player, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Brown is the 24th Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
