Report: Penn State Football Offensive Lineman J’ven Williams Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football offensive lineman J’ven Williams will be entering the transfer portal, according to a report from Pete Nakos. He leaves the program with two years of eligibility remaining.

Williams has been a serviceable backup on the offensive line and on special teams throughout his career with the Nittany Lions. As a redshirt sophomore, Williams played in two games. As a redshirt freshman, Williams appeared in all 16 games, primarily on special teams.

Playing out of Wyomissing High School, Williams warranted a four-star rating and was ranked as the No. 1 player in Pennsylvania, the No. 6 offensive tackle in the nation, and the No. 40 overall player, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Williams is the 23rd Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal.
