Report: Penn State Football Tight End Luke Reynolds Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football tight end Luke Reynolds has entered the transfer portal, according to a report from Pete Nakos. Reynolds leaves the program with two years of eligibility remaining.

This past season, Reynolds served in a committee of tight ends with Khalil Dinkins and Andrew Rappleyea. The 6’4″, 250-pounder has registered 257 yards on 26 catches, with no touchdowns. He also had a 24-yard run against Nebraska.

As a true freshman, Reynolds backed up Tyler Warren, adding a serviceable nine catches for 111 yards and a touchdown alongside a 32-yard rush off of a fake punt in 16 appearances.

The Westford, Massachusetts, native was listed as a four-star recruit out of Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut. He ranked as the No. 1 player in the state, No. 5 tight end in the country, and the No. 71 player overall, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Reynolds is the 20th Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
