Offensive Tackle Will Tompkins Transfers To Penn State Footbal

Offensive tackle Will Tompkins has committed to transfer to Penn State football, he announced Saturday. The former Iowa State player has four years of eligibility remaining.

Tompkins is the No. 57 offensive tackle in the portal, according to 247Sports’ transfer rankings. The former three-star player was also listed as the 57th-best player in his position as a recruit, as well as the No. 7 from Iowa.

The 6’5″, 300-pound player did not record any stats in his true freshman season under Matt Campbell.

He is the second former Iowa State player to officially join Penn State from the transfer portal. He will join tight end Benjamin Brahmer in reuniting with Campbell in Happy Valley.
