Former Iowa State Tight End Cooper Alexander Transfers To Penn State Football

Former Iowa State tight end Cooper Alexander has committed to transfer to Penn State football, he announced on Instagram on Friday.

The three-star player was the No. 38 tight end and No. 6 recruit from Oklahoma in the class of 2024, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Alexander redshirted in his first season with the Cyclones. Last season, he appeared in 11 games, totalling five receptions for 47 yards.

The 6’4″, 245-pound tight end is the 30th transfer to follow head coach Matt Campbell to Penn State. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
