Former Penn State Football Defensive Tackle Randy Adirika Transfers To Virginia Tech

Former Penn State football defensive tackle Randy Adirika has committed to transfer to Virginia Tech, he announced on Instagram Monday night. He has four years of eligibility remaining.

The 6’3″, 308-pound run stopper played against Nevada and Villanova in his 2025 true freshman campaign, but did not record a stat.

Adirika committed to Penn State as a three-star recruit and was ranked as the No. 65 defensive lineman in the class of 2025 and No. 75 player in Florida, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. He recorded 45 tackles-for-loss and 17 sacks over his final three high school seasons, per his MaxPreps profile.

Adirika joins Mylachi Williams, Cortez Harris, Luke Reynolds, Keon Wylie, Michael Troutman III, Matt Henderson, Jeff Exinor Jr., Daniel Jennings, and Ethan Grunkemeyer as Nittany Lions to join James Franklin and the Hokies.
