[Photo Story] Penn State Hoops’ Return To Rec Hall vs. Wisconsin

Last week, the Penn State men’s basketball team competed in Rec Hall to take on the Wisconsin Badgers in the annual “Return to Rec Hall” game. The matchup brought the team back to one of the program’s most historic venues, offering a different atmosphere from a typical night at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Fans packed the smaller arena early, expecting a tough matchup between two Big Ten teams.

Despite the energized crowd, Penn State struggled to keep pace with Wisconsin’s offense.

During a timeout, a student was brought up to take on the challenge of hitting a golf ball across the court. The shot went in, drawing an immediate and enthusiastic response from the crowd.

The Nittany Lions fought hard, but eventually the Badgers came out on top with a 98-71 win.

The Nittany Lions will face the Ohio State Buckeyes Monday night and will be back home in the BJC on Sunday, February 1st.
