Penn State men’s lacrosse’s Reid Gills was named Big Ten Specialist of the Week after the team’s season-opening win against Colgate, 18-14.

Gills shone in faceoffs for the Nittany Lions, winning 60.8% with 79 out of 130 in the game. The sophomore also picked up an assist to Hunter Acquino in the second quarter.

Penn State will stay in Happy Valley to face Villanova at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 7.
