Penn State Field Hockey Releases 2026 Spring Schedule

Penn State field hockey released its 2026 spring schedule Monday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions are set to play five exhibition dates throughout March and April as part of their offseason slate.

Penn State will open its spring season against Bucknell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3. The team will then return to action more than a month later with a multi-team play date featuring Kent State and Cornell on Saturday, April 11.

Three days later, the Nittany Lions will face Bucknell once again at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14. Penn State will continue its spring schedule with another multi-team event against Drexel and Columbia on Saturday, April 18.

Penn State will close out its spring season against Lock Haven at noon on Sunday, April 26.

Penn State went 7-10 in its 2025 campaign with a 2-6 conference record, missing the Big Ten tournament for the third consecutive year. The Nittany Lions recorded 34 goals on 210 total shots during the season. Defensively, Penn State tallied 71 saves and allowed 40 goals. It also generated 102 penalty corners.

Hannah Price will get her first reps in as Penn State’s head coach in the spring after Pat Kraft decided to move on from Lisa Bervinchak Love.
