A Flood Of Problems For Bryce Jordan Center Bathrooms In THON 2026

With all these water socials, the urge to pee gets stronger by the minute, but the Bryce Jordan Center’s wonderful plumbing system has limited the availability for men to do so.

Six hours ago, I was content with my section’s placement between two men’s bathrooms, giving me two different places to go, in case one was busy — and, boy, were they busy. But the line was never long enough to deter me from either option.

During my 4 a.m. bathroom trip, I noticed the floor of the bathroom by portal 20 was a bit wet, but I didn’t think too much of it. That is, until a urinal started flooding the bathroom on my way out; gallons at a time, water pouring out of it onto the already-nasty tile floor. Who knows how long it lasted, but when I returned two hours later, imagine my surprise to see not only portal 20’s bathroom closed, but portal 26 as well.

Two convenient bathroom options, locked up.

With only 20 minutes to return to my portal, I had to find another bathroom quickly. Twenty minutes may seem like a long time, but with the concourse zombies (no disrespect intended), it’s not an easy maze to navigate.

Clearly, I chose the wrong route because I passed two women’s bathrooms and an entrance before coming across a men’s bathroom on the opposite side of the BJC from my portal. Not only was there a distance inconvenience, but the line for the stalls was out the door because half the men’s bathrooms are closed.

The Sunday sun has risen, and thousands more spectators will pile into the BJC to support the dancers in their remaining hours. Will only two men’s rooms suffice? I highly doubt it. OPP, I hope you get on this quickly, or there will be many other men who suffer my overly-dramatic bathroom inconvenience.
