Equal Access Collective & Doggie’s Pub to Host Working Animals Awareness Event April 12

The Equal Access Collective is hosting an event at Doggie’s Pub on Sunday, April 12, from noon to 2 p.m., focused on the roles and importance of working animals.

The event, titled “Acess in Action: More Than a Pet,” will feature three types of working dogs: service, therapy, and emotional support. Interactive games will be available for folks to participate in and learn.

Doggie’s is offering a raffle for free hoodies or T-Shirts for attendees.

The Equal Access Collective is a committee of five Penn State public relations students aiming to raise awareness about working animals. They “have the common goal to decrease misinformation and confusion, as well as increase comfort surrounding the working animals.”
