Greek Week Events Set For April 13-16

Penn State’s annual Greek Week, hosted in partnership with Penn State’s Panhellenic, Interfraternity, Multicultural, and National Pan-Hellenic Greek Councils, is returning this week and will host events from April 13 through the 16.

Here’s what’s going on, folks:

Monday, April 13:

Head over to the HUB Gazebo, or HUB Room 106, in the case of rain, for the “Why Greek” Banner Signing and SUAP Donation Drive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here, you make your mark by signing a banner and writing why you went Greek and what you love about your chapter! There will also be a SUAP donation drive where basic need goods will be collected, including hygiene items, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and more. Just for stopping by, you’ll earn a free fidget toy

Tuesday, April 14:

In partnership with Celsius, come grab a sip and show off your skills at a Basketball and Spikeball tournament at 3:30 p.m. at Beta Sigma Beta. The basketball tournament will be run 3v3 style, and the spike ball tournament will be played doubles. Participation is free, and you can sign up here.

Wednesday, April 15:

The Greek Carnival returns to the Hub Lawn from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature inflatables, free Creamery ice cream, Monster products, popcorn, a caricature artist from 1-3 p.m., a photo booth, games, and more.

Thursday, April 16:

The Multicultural Greek Council will host its MGC Showcase at 7:30 p.m. in Heritage Hall. The showcase will feature various performances from stepping to strolling, and more.
