Former Lady Lions Guard Téa Cléante Transfers To Kansas State

Former Penn State women’s basketball guard Téa Cléante is committed to play basketball at Kansas State, she announced Sunday on Instagram.

After a successful freshman season in Happy Valley, Cléante entered the transfer portal on March 29. During her time with the Lady Lions, Cléante averaged 8.7 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. She ranked fourth on the team in scoring.

Cléante is just one of several Lady Lions who entered the transfer portal after new head coach Tanisha Wright’s hiring. She will join a Kansas State team that is fresh off a Big 12 Tournament semifinal appearance.
