Former Penn State Football Offensive Lineman Sal Wormley Re-Signs With Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed former Penn State football offensive lineman Sal Wormley, the team announced on Monday.

Wormley arrived in Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent back in 2025 and spent his first professional season on the team’s practice squad. The Jaguars revealed earlier this week that they would release Wormley, but have since backtracked after undrafted rookie Jordan White announced he would retire from the NFL.

Wormley started 13 games at right guard for the Nittany Lions during his 2023 redshirt senior season in Happy Valley, earning All-Big Ten recognition.

Jacksonville’s decision to re-sign Wormley is one of four roster adjustments the team made following its rookie minicamp.
