Penn State Softball’s Allison Oneacre Named To Softball America’s Freshman All-America Team

Penn State softball player Allison Oneacre was named to Softball America’s Freshman All-America team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Oneacre totaled 56 RBIs, 16 home runs, and 68 assists on the season. She claimed the single-season RBI and freshman home run record at Penn State. Oneacre also worked a .385 batting average and a 1.290 OPS, both team leads.

The Alpharetta, Georgia, native was named to the All-Big Ten First Team and Freshman Team, the NFCA All-Region Team, and was a top-10 finalist for Freshman of the Year. She is the second Nittany Lion to be named a Freshman All-American, joining Bridget Nemeth.
