Four-Star Defensive Lineman Elijah Guertin Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 four-star defensive lineman Elijah Guertin has committed to Penn State football, per On3’s Ryan Snyder.
The 6’5″, 255-pounder is tabbed as the No. 1 player in Rhode Island, No. 27 edge rusher in the Class of 2027, and No. 302 player nationally, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. Guertin tallied 20 total tackles and four tackles-for-loss in his 2025-26 junior campaign, per his MaxPreps profile. He also racked up five receptions for 100 yards as a tight end.
Guertin committed to Penn State following his official visit over the weekend. He is the Nittany Lions’ fourth defensive line commit in the class, joining Stanley Montgomery, Carter Blattner, and Aniti Paiva. He chose Penn State over Florida.
