It Is What It Is Candy & Gifts Set Up Pop-Up On Calder Way

Something sweet is coming to Calder Way this fall.
It Is What It Is Candy & Gifts arrives at the Calder Way Pop-Up. The family-owned business from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, is known for its delicious candies, nostalgic classics, and unique gifts.
Owned by Fabre Sanders, her husband Larry Miller, and her father Art Sanders, the Calder Way Pop-Up is a long-awaited opportunity for them to bring their sweet treats to Happy Valley.
“We have always wanted to open a second candy store in downtown State College, and the pop-up opportunity couldn’t be more perfect,” the family said.
The candy shop first opened its doors as a gift shop in Lock Haven in 2018. Three years later, the next-door storefront became available, and the It Is What It Is Sweet Shop was born.
The sweet shop sells high-quality chocolates and fudge locally sourced in-state. Traditional favorites, European and Asian imports, vegan options, and nostalgic sweets are available for purchase.
The Sanders family has candy locations in Lewisburg, Williamsport, and Mill Hall, Pennsylvania.
To taste the sweetness of It Is What It Is, visit the Calder Way Pop-Up at 236 E. Calder Way this September and October and follow them on Facebook for updates here.
