Here we are with another new food spot, folks.

Baby’s Diner recently opened its doors. Located on South Garner Street, the old-school-inspired diner offers a variety of foods, such as burgers, sandwiches, wings, breakfast options, milkshakes, and more.

Some of our staffers decided to check it out and give it a try.

Holden Mostofsky: Burger, Fries, & Cookies & Cream Milkshake

When I first walked into Baby’s Diner, I immediately paid attention to the decor. I thought the vibe was super cool, and the restaurant itself looked very creative.

I ordered a burger, fries, and a milkshake, and they were all great. It’s hard to go wrong with a burger and fries at a diner, and Baby’s didn’t disappoint.

The milkshake was the highlight for me, though, and they even give you an extra cup for the remaining parts that didn’t fit in the glass, so it was two milkshakes, really.

The service was also great, and the staff was super friendly. We also got a card for five dollars off the next meal there, so that was a great bonus.

Julia Romankow: Bacon Mac & Cheese & Chocolate Milkshake

I got the bacon mac and cheese and a chocolate milkshake.

The milkshake came in a nice glass cup and came with extra milkshake on the side in a cup, which was the cherry on top. The milkshake itself was delicious!

The bacon mac and cheese was loaded with bacon, topped with breadcrumbs, and didn’t break the bank.

The atmosphere of Baby’s was super fun, and they even had a cool jukebox that we spun around a bit. I really appreciated the authenticity within the theming, from the tables and chairs to the decor.

Malea Nadeo: Elvis French Toast & Cookies & Cream Milkshake

I decided to join the crew on the trip to Baby’s Diner. I had never been to the location, even the diners there before, so I was eager to try their food.

I went with their Elvis French toast — two slices of French toast stuffed with bananas, peanut butter, and bacon. Let me just say that they can make a mean French toast. I was a little suspicious of the flavor combination, but it was so good.

We all ended up getting milkshakes, so I went with the cookies-and-cream one. It was an amazing sweet treat, not to mention they give you a cup of the leftover milkshake that didn’t fit in the glass.

Combining both the diner aesthetic and the food, I’d rate it a solid 8/10. Bonus points for the jukebox.

Christian Gresko: Philly Cheesesteak, Fries, & Cookies & Cream Milkshake

Baby’s Diner had great service, great food, and a great atmosphere.

As a picky eater, the menu was very welcoming. There were lots of food items to choose from. I went at dinner time, but I to come back for breakfast in the future.

As an individual from a hometown 45 minutes north of Philadelphia, I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. I chose not to include the peppers that usually come with the order. When the cheesesteak came, I was pleasantly surprised. The steak and onions tasted great. It came with good fries too.

For dessert, I ordered a cookies and cream milkshake, and I could not say enough good things about it. The milkshake had great presentation, but it also came with so much extra milkshake that it didn’t fit in the original glass.

The service at Baby’s Diner was top-notch, and I hope to go again soon.

Oscar Orellana: Philly Cheesesteak, Fries, & Vanilla Milkshake

I got a Philly cheesesteak and a vanilla shake.

The fries in this thing were delectable, but the cheesesteak was nothing I haven’t had before. It was still good, though; that’s definitely not a knock on it.

If you’re going to hit this place up, you have to get a milkshake. I would probably opt for a cookies-and-cream one if I went again, but the vanilla was still great.

The service was awesome, and figuring out the jukebox was cool too. I’d definitely come again.
