Please Come Back: An Open Letter To Penn State Football Wide Receiver Koby Howard

Dear Mr. Koby Howard,

Penn State needs you. Seriously, Penn State football’s offensive production is night and day with and without you in the lineup.

In three games with Howard, the Nittany Lion has 12 receptions for 344 yards and two touchdowns. Howard also has two rushes for 24 yards.

In the lone game without Howard, Penn State failed to get the rock to any receiver not named Chase Sowell. The Nittany Lions ended the game with just 114 receiving yards and just one offensive touchdown.

Safe to say, Howard is the peanut butter to Penn State’s jelly. He’s the Bonnie to the Nittany Lions Clyde.

We need you, Howard.

Based on your cryptic X post, fans believe you are coming back against Michigan on October 17. Of course, this is just speculation, but man, that’s not going to cut it.

Speaking for all Penn State fans, one-leg Howard is better than no Howard at all.

I mean, you only need one foot in bounds to catch a pass in college football anyway.

Penn State fans became even more optimistic about a return when you posted on social media saying, “okay bet,” after the Nittany Lions fell to Wisconsin.

What does it mean, Howard? I need answers.

I can already imagine your game-winning touchdown against USC in Penn State’s annual White Out game.

Please tell me you can make it back by then.

Happy Valley needs you.
