Penn State Football Names Team Captains Against Michigan

Penn State football named quarterback Rocco Becht, offensive lineman Anthony Donkoh, linebacker Kooper Ebel, and long snapper Blaise Sokach-Minnick as team captains for its game against Michigan at Michigan Stadium, the team announced Saturday afternoon.

After struggling mightily in Penn State’s losses to Wisconsin and Northwestern, Becht rebounded in last week’s game against USC, throwing for 289 yards and a touchdown. Ebel is second on the team in tackles this year, notching 33 total, 14 being solo.

Becht, Donkoh, and Ebel have served as captains for each of the previous six games this season. Sokach-Minnick received the honor in the Nittany Lions’ Week 1 matchup with Marshall.
