New THON Director Position Added to the Executive Committee
Next year, THON will add a 16th position to its current 15-member Executive Committee. The function of the Rules and Regulations Director will be replaced with two new positions: R&R Event Safety Director and R&R Volunteer Safety Director.
According to THON’s Executive Committee application for 2015, the R&R Event Safety Director will be in charge of “designing and implementing the rules and policies of all pre-THON events and THON Weekend, as well as managing the PASS and Digital Line Management Systems.”
The R&R Volunteer Safety Director will focus on “THON’s fundraising efforts in order to maintain the safety of all volunteers and the integrity of all funds raised.”
If you’re interested in applying for next year’s Executive Committee, applications have just opened. You can find the application here under the Documents section of THON.org. It must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 28 to be considered.
